Health4Travel is designed for routine check-ups. In emergency cases please call the emergency number 112 (EU) or the respective emergency number of your respective location.
Currently, Health4Travel only partners with English speaking doctors to ensure that traveler patients needs are met. However, Health4Travel is continuously developing the services and perhaps this could be a feature to be considered for the future.
Yes, the Health4Travel platform allows a customer with an insurance policy to enter their international insurance policy number into the selected field section during the booking process. This way, the customers insurer is able to make reimbursements upon presenting proof of medical receipt/invoice.
When traveler patients make a doctor appointment booking through the Health4Travel platform, Health4Travel receives the payment and in turn makes a consolidated monthly payment from all patient bookings to that particular clinic.
We accept Paypal, major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and AmEx, Klarna, iDEAL, AliPay, WeChat Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and a host of other payment methods.
If you have missed your appointment because you were late or forgot then unfortunately, you will not get a refund. You will have to book a new doctor’s appointment. Refunds are paid back to customer for following cases:
1. A doctor misses a customer’s pre-booked appointment.
2. A healthcare clinic was closed and a customer was not able go to their pre-booked appointment.
3. A healthcare clinic was busy and refused to take a pre-booked customer.
​We inform our customers that sometimes doctors can be up to 30 minutes late for an appointment because of scheduling and busyness. We do ask, however, that medical clinics keep their Health4Travel appointments on time because the customer has already paid upfront for the visit and is informed of the appointment beforehand.
Yes, you can change your booking to another time slot that is available at our partner clinic up to 24 hours before the time of your original booking. The contact details of our partner clinic have been provided in your booking confirmation email. Please get in touch with the clinic directly to ask about rescheduling your appointment. Health4Travel can not be held responsible if you can not find a new booking time slot that is suitable for you.

You can use our online service to book an appointment with a private doctor when you are feeling unwell overseas or when you need a doctor’s advice for travel medicines, vaccines, urgent prescriptions or minor accidents. Before your trip, you can also download our app to prepare for your journey by making offline digital copies of your critical travel health information such as vaccinations and prescriptions.
Although we designed our system to serve travelers first, it is entirely possible to use our platform when travelling domestically or even when looking for private healthcare services in your home area. Please be aware of the terms and conditions of your insurance coverage when you are seeking healthcare in your home country.
Health4Travel does not collect your health information at any point in time. If you have downloaded our mobile app, the certificates and documents you store there are held offline in your phone’s storage and are only accessible to you or someone you have given access rights to.

If you get service from your doctor for a pre-booked appointment and you need the receipt or invoice for reimbursement by your insurance company, you can request for these documents directly from Health4Travel customer support through this link Please note that if you have received additional charges from the clinic for any add-on services other than your pre-bookings, all total charges will be included in the receipt. This same process applies for walk-in patients to the clinic.

Yes, you will not be charged any fee for the App download. You can download the App here.
After booking an appointment, you will instantly receive a confirmation to the email address you provided at the time of the appointment booking. The confirmation email will also display your booking number. Please check your inbox/spam/junk folders too for the email”. Alternatively, if you have downloaded the Health4Travel App, you can check your booking records under the “Bookings” menu of the App.
For Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance of the appointment – full refunds in all cases. Cancellations by the patient less than 24 hours in advance – no refund; clinic is paid their fee. Cancellations by the clinic less than 24 hours in advance – full refund to the patient; clinic pays booking fee. For cancellations due to emergency situations – please check with our Customer Service team through this link.
Yes, you can reschedule your booking to another timeslot that is available at our partner clinic up to 24 hours before the time of your original booking.
